On August 2nd, 2012 pack your picnic baskets and head to the park… the Underpass Park!
The park will be the most extensive park to ever be built under an overpass in Canada. Underpass Park, located in the West Don Lands and under the Gardiner Expressway, innovatively re-engineers the area under the overpasses and creates an inviting year-round public amenity.
I’ve been taking pics of the progress over the past couple months and can’t wait to see what the finished product will look like!
They’ll be having the big unveil this Thursday at 10am! Look for more updates from the area in coming posts!
