The Office

I started 2010 with a goal of making it bigger than the Burj Dubai and 365 days later I can successfully say “I did it”!  The people and experiences last year brought me, laid the framework for an even better real estate foundation that I hope to only strengthen in 20-11.  Last years goal of “going big” can only be upstaged by making this year about quality… The goal is to make your real estate experience as comfortable as a night at the Four Seasons! Several green teas, hot chocolates and late nights in the office (pictured above) have resulted in a few random thoughts I’ve had for improving the business:

I want to offer the most top notch service to the public in not only buying in selling but also in every aspect of what I do!  I want to write more engaging blog stories with more of an emphasis on content rather than sales. And it can’t just be in print either… expect more videos and pictures of all the coolest real estate things in 2011.

When it came to creativity, I found 2010 to be rather dull.  Whenever a new preconstruction project launched you’d find several websites either ripping off the look of the development or regurgitating that same story over and over again.  Sure, it may have worked for those Realtors in terms of sales but it lacked in value…the quality was not there.  Basically, this niche market is quickly becoming over saturated.  To compete with this, the only value added solution I can think of is to dig deeper and write about all aspects of a development instead of a cheesy copy and paste from the developers sales brochures!

There is lots to be learned about buying resale!  Buying and selling on a daily basis has made me overlook some of the basic questions a first timer may have.  Others may not have bought or sold for several years, and things have changed with the process.  I want to address these areas and answer the questions these people have!

It’s no surprise that Realtors make great money when they sell.  It’s very easy to get caught up in “how much will I make” vs “how much can I help”. I’m not out to change the world, but I am out to improve your buying or selling experience.  The mantra is a simple one for 2011 –  don’t do it for the money, do it to help!
