This just in…I’m officially addicted to blogging! What started as simple experiment to make my job more exciting, has transformed into a separate job all on its own. My first attempt at blogging started right here at SavelBlogs.com. It very quickly allowed me to talk about the things that interest me…primarily Real Estate related, but also other Torontoish topics. Then came BloorCondos.com , a lifestyle blog geared to the developments in the Yorkville part of town! That’s still a work in progress, but definitely on its way. And now I’m dabbling in getting my PhotoBlog off the ground.

It’s essentially what the name suggests… from Monday-Friday I post pictures from my BlackBerry to the Blog, Facebook and Twitter. With so much happening on a daily basis, it’s impossible for me to write about it all. I highly doubt that anyone would call me up to sell their condo based on the photos…but that’s not its purpose. It’s my way of sharing what I see in the City I sell (or buy, depending on who I’m working with lol).

Check out my PhotoBlog daily for a side of the City you may not see everyday!

I’ve been spending a lot of my time on the East side of town lately, showing and selling at the various condo sites and hanging out in its eclectic coffee shops. The other day I was in the area gathering info on <a href="http://savelblogs.com/trinity-lofts"title="" >Trinity Lofts, when I passed the newly opened Mini Downtown…being a Mini Cooper driver/enthusiast/owner myself I just had to stop by!

The new looking dealership is MUCH different than the old! I first fell in love with my Cooper when I saw it sitting in the “loft-like” showroom at its King West location. The space had exposed brick, wood beams, and high ceilings. Shortly after I picked up the car, the dealership moved out of its place and headed east…Located in front of BMW Downtown (the tall glass building that can be seen from the DVP) the new place is an excellent evolution of design and space compared to its old digs.

Designed by Toronto based Raw Design (the geniuses’ in design behind the Cube Lofts on College St), it’s new look has replaced wooden beams with black steel ones and substituted hardwood floors with rectangular slate-like tiles. Perched above the showroom floor is the mezzanine that allows customers to watch their car being serviced as they hang out in the “lounge” atmosphere! The showroom is mainly black, but lightens up with the colourful Coopers that line the floor. Playful greens, oranges and other neon lights accent the space and help to put you in a “mini cooper” state of mind!

Check out some photos below. The East side of town is proving to be an excellent area, with tons of potential…I think we’ll be seeing more business follow Mini by heading east! If you to have thought about making the move send me an email or give me a call… I’d love to help!

PS… if you’re looking to get into a Mini, talk to Sam Barbaro! He did an awesome job getting me into mine and I’m sure he can do the same for you!!

It seems like just yesterday the blogging experience began for me!! As I near my 100th post, I wanted to share the links of some of the other Real Estate blogs that I often read. It also gives my readers a chance to get others perspective on the market and city.

In no particular order, my suggestions for T.O. Real Estate blogs are (insert drum roll):
The Realosophy Move Smartly Blog
Richard Silver’s Torontoism Blog
BuzzBuzzHome Blog
George O’Neill’s Real Estate Musings
Andrew la Fleur’s – True Condos
Tridac Mortgages Money Matters Toronto Blog
Heritage Toronto Blog

and if you’ve stumpled onto my blog looking for content outside of Toronto:
Andrew Perkins Halifax Real Estate Guy Blog
Dave Chomitz Cobourg Port Hope Northumerland Information Blog
The Collingwood – Blue Mountain Real Estate Blog
Ian Watts Video blog

There’s tons of others out there but I choose to list the ones above because (like I) they update frequently! Thanks to all of the loyal readers who’ve checked out the blog thus far and if you haven’t signed up for daily updates you can do so here. If you’re ready to take the next step in your real estate journey give me a call…i’d love to help!

p.s. in my previous entry I promised to post questions about 1Bloor…truth is i’m pretty 1Bloor’d out for the weekend. Besides, I’m sure the events of this week will give me tons of content to work with. Check back often as any new developments (pun intended) will be posted here!
