Home staging is one the most important parts of preparing your house for the real estate market. By using certain techniques to highlight the best features of your home, you can help it stand out amongst the rest. There are many different ways that you can accent your house with home staging, but one of the most important methods is to improve upon your home lighting setup. Creating the perfect atmosphere through the use of different lighting techniques can greatly increase your chances of selling your home.
Real Estate has really had it’s time to shine in the past 10 years, and not just in appreciation. It seems as if every channel has to have some sort of real estate related show. From A&E’s Flip This House to HGTV’s…well pretty much everything on HGTV is real estate related. Even CP24 has a weekly real estate program and the truth is I love it all.
It’s an obvious sign that the public has a huge interest in real estate not just for shelter but as a lifestyle. It comes as no surprise that people are always asking me for recommendations on real estate books. In a couple clicks you can peek into my bookshelf and view the book’s I’ve read. REALTORS’® lobbying efforts have achieved significant victories in the recently announced 2009 Federal Budget, including proposals to expand the RRSP Homebuyers’ Plan, provide a First-Time Home Buyers’ Tax Credit, and provide a Home Renovation Tax Credit. The implementation of these announcements depends on the approval of the Budget by the House of Commons.
