For the last few months, I’ve really cut back on the amount of preconstruction I’ve been talking about on the blog… truth is, nothing has really excited me and the whole scene in Toronto has become pretty “blah”.  As we approach the last quarter of 2012, (finally) a project is coming that will change all of that!

Symmetry Developments (think Linea Towns and The Hive) is getting set to launch it’s latest project – Origami Lofts.  Located at Wosely and Bathurst just half a block up from Queen West and the newly restored CB2,  everything about the development is fresh and exciting!

Only 23 of lofts are being constructed, including and even smaller number 2 storey penthouses. I’ve been fortunate enough to get a sneak peak at what the insides of Origami will one day look like… First up is the interior of the lofts:

Holding true to the Origami name, the project incorporates the hard lines and bends of the ancient Japanese paper folding tradition, especially in th kitchen and living areas. The slits of floor to ceiling windows also adds a new element to design, giving you a glimpse into life below while maintaining privacy inside.

The 2 storey penthouses will sit atop the building wrapped in glass and feature large terrace areas! In the rendering above, we get a better view of the origami inspired interiors… I can’t wait to see that kitchen island in real life!!

Prices and floorplans are yet to be released, but I’ll be able to help those interested in living at Origami get in early!  If you’d like to be added to the list please fill out the for below:
