If last weeks post was for the fella’s, then this weeks is all for the ladies!  The feedback from Dzmitry’s watches was so positive that I wanted to shine the light on another side of his design – eyewear!

Dzmitry has created a collection of “pixelated” glasses.  They’ve been entirely manufactured in France using up-to-date technologies and handmade methods. In the websites words: These futuristic glasses have been designed with a pixelated effect, deliberately reflecting society’s fascination with an “informational aesthetic”. The design clearly refers for late 1980s computerized graphics and video games such as Tetris. While computer imaes and graphics have been revolutionized over the past two decades, these glasses are reminiscent of society’s digital roots and how technology has inspired
almost everything in use today. Even something as utilitarian as glasses can be transformed using technology.

Mr. Samal’s collection isn’t limited to only pixel glasses… he also has a design inspired by the Ai Weiwei ”Bird’s Nest” in Beijing! The “structural eye wear” replicates the stadiums nest-like pattern.  For now they’re only a concept though! Check out more photos below:
