About Monde Condos
Monde condos is the first development to launch in the East Bayfront Area. Great Gulf Homes (the same people who brought you One Bloor, The Hudson and X condos) will be building Monde at 36 storyes tall. It will be a mix of commercial and residential suites with a total of over 500 units!
The edgy building design is the work of Moshe Safdie! You may have never heard of him before, but I can almost gaurentee you’ve seen his work. Mr. Safdie first became known for is design at Habitat 67 in Montreal. He is also the man behind the National Gallery of Canada, Vancouver Library Square, Montreal Museum of Fine Arts, and the newly updated Terminal 1 at Toronto’s Pearson International Airport. I’m certain the Monde will one day be added to his legacy of accomplishments as well… It will also be the first residential project by Moshe Safdie in Canada since his landmark Habitat ’67 in Montreal.

Suite Features at Monde Condos
The suites at Monde Condos will be 9 ft. high with smooth ceilings throughout (except for where bulkheads are). The floors will be made from pre-finished engineered flooring and will continue though out, except in the bathroom and laundry areas with porcelain tiles will be used instead. The laundry room will contain stacked energy efficient front load washer and dryer.
The kitchen cabinetry has been custom designed by Cecconi Simone and will be made available in a variety of colours! For the kitchen counter tops and island (were applicable) purchasers can choose between granite or corian materials. Completing the kitchen will be a single bowl stainless steel under mounted sink with integrated pull-out head. A built in counter-depth refrigerator, stainless steel built-in oven with ceramic 4-zone cook top, stainless steel microwave steel hood fan and integrated dishwasher also come with units.
