Hi Mark,

Being in the moving business and living in a condo myself, I would have to agree with buying your condo first then your furniture. Unfortunately most people cannot do that since they already have most of their furniture bought and owned and they don't want to go through the extra expense at that time.

I personally would recommend measuring the space and your belongings and creating some sort of layout where all the furniture will be placed, if the layout doesn't work at least 60% of the time then you should not buy that condo and move on to another, unless of course you can part with your belongings. Just my 2 cents.

And remember, in order to buy a condo downtown Toronto, you will most likely have to compromise, that's where the 60% comes in.

Happy hunting

LOL, yes I would definitely be able to help...BUT the first step would be finding a broker willing to finance you! I may know a guy

This post is very timely Savel! I just purchased a mattress this week but the size was limited by the size of my bedroom... are there any one bedroom condos in the city that will fit a mattress size other than a single or double?

If I had a Queen sized bed and mattress could you find me a condo that has a bedroom big enough to fit it?
