Early Access to The Hill Condos on Eglinton West

The Hill Condominiums has a lot more in store for it’s inside, than I previously wrote about it’s change on the outside! I attended a very intimate dinner hosted by the broker in-charge of sales and The Hill and got a first hand look at what the building will offer!

The Hill will contain a total of 9 stories and will be home to only 93 suites! On the Eglinton side, residents will have a protected view of the beautiful upper Forest Hill homes and there large lush trees. To the south units will step back and offer great views of the nearby ravine and downtown skyline! The large terraces will also make for the perfect backdrop to a summer BBQ. Suites will feature gas hookups!

Residents will come home to an onsite concierge and 24 hour security service. There will be an entertainment lounge along with a private dining room and outdoor BBQ. For those expecting guests for the night, there will be one furnished guest suite available (something not seen to often in a boutique building)!

There is a large variety of unique floorplans (over 50) for purchasers to choose from. Each come with appliance packages consisting of a stainless steel fridge, cooktop, built in oven, microwave, range hood, built in dishwasher and a full sized washer/dryer! The kitchens will also feature stone counter-tops with under-mounted sinks and a glass back-splash. Certain units will also come with a natural stone kitchen island!

Suites will feature 9 foot stippled ceilings (with the option for smooth) and interiors designed by award winning designer Mike Niven. Plank laminate flooring will be available in all spaces except for the bathroom and laundry…they’ll have porcelain tiles.

What I love about the project is it’s location. I grew up a few blocks west of The Hill and love spending nights walking the area. No matter what your type of food your craving, there’s no shortage of places to eat… For vegans there’s Loving Hut, for the sushi lovers there’s Sado Sushi and if it’s middle eastern food you’re after – New Jerusalem can answer your hungers calls! It takes less than 5 minutes to walk to Eglinton West subway station, and in the near future even less to hop on to the LRT line. A station is to be located at Bathurst and Eglinton.

This isn’t your typical “investors” building as many of the people looking to live here are either locals down sizing or first timers starting out. Since there is hardly any new condo inventory being built in the area, The Hill makes for an attractive investment!
